In what seems to be ground breaking news in finding a solution for the much needed ventilators to cater for COVID-19 patients, a local solution come from Harare Institute of Technology.

According to a tweet by Nick Mangwana the institute developed a ventilator, soon to be deployed to help fight Covid19 and have the capacity to make 40 ventilators per-day.
There is a global shortage of ventilators, as USA President Donald Trump forces big automobile manufacturing companies into manufacturing of ventilators. A local sustainable solution will ease pressure on few available resources.
