A war has erupted between media personality Bonang Matheba and her management CSA. Bonang spilt the news in a much-anticipated reveal on Twitter spaces.
Bonang read out her statement on accusing the agency of criminal misconduct in a short address.
“I have very disturbing news. Over the last few years, I have been in any business relationship; I have hired management and gave them stewardship over my brand Bonang to grow and support it across entertainment, fashion and entrepreneurship.
Today I announce that I have terminated that contract with them, and they no longer represent me or any of my business ventures. Furthermore, I have instructed my lawyers to investigate the possibility of criminal conduct by the company and its representatives.
I will revert over the next few days with feedback so that others will be aware of what I consider unsavoury behaviour,” said Bonang.
CSA fired back at Bonang, accusing her of spreading lies and half-truths.
“For the record, Ms Matheba is currently in breach of multiple contracts with various clients as she has been derelict to these brands and indeed her own for the past six months.
“We are currently awaiting a response from Bonang’s lawyers on legal letters already sent.
There is no merit in these scandalous allegations, and we look forward to the day in court with Bonang, exposing the false and half-truths that she has been spreading.”
“According to their website, CSA is a global agency specializing in talent, communication and events, with specific expertise in brand journalism and influencer marketing,” CSA said in a statement.
