Parker started at Hellenic FC in Cape Town, which was later renamed Benoni Premier United. When the club moved to Durban, he went and joined Thanda Royal Zulu FC. He was there until 2009. He left Thando Royal Zulu FC and joined Red Star. Red Star at the time were the European Cup Winners in Serbia. However, financial issues cut his time with the club short.
From Red Star, he became a member of Eredivisie, which won the cup 2009 -2010 under the FC Twente. During his time at FC Twente, the coach changed, resulting in decreased playtime leading to his looking for a way out. In December 2010, he joined Leicester City on trial. He then went to Panserraikos on loan for the 2010-2011 Greek season.

Early 2020 Parker had the misfortune of being caught on the wrong side of Twitter. Twitter had a field day with him when he slid into the DMs of one Twitter user.
