Back with a bang, House of Zwide actress Londeka Mchunu ‘Zanele’s salary gets Mzansi talking.
South African actress Londeka Mchunu is a talented actress who has been in the entertainment industry for several years and is making it big. The actress auditioned with Bomb productions which landed her a role in Isithembiso, which was her debut on television. However, the most significant role of her career so far has been her role as Zanele Zwide in the fashion drama series.

Zanele has always wanted to make her father, Funani Zwide, proud of her talent; sometimes, she would use unconventional methods to get her way. At one point, she lies that Ona’s design sketchbook was hers so her father would be pleased. Of course, those kinds of decisions often landed her in trouble, and she ended up scheming with her mother, who is not one to shy away from evil deeds.
Earlier this year, viewers were introduced to Nina, Laz’s friend and a fellow fashion designer. When she left South Africa, Nina offered Zanele a job in Paris with her fashion house, and Zanele took it and left the country. Before leaving the country, she started a relationship with Sandile, an intern, and their long-distance relationship has been going well.
Mchunu’s return to House of Zwide
This week after five months of not appearing on House of Zwide, Zanele makes her significant return to the drama series. After her mother Faith is arrested for the murder of Busi 20 years ago, Zanele returns to South Africa to try and save her mother from her impending doom. Despite the fact that no one believes Faith anymore, Zanele will still try to keep her mother from jail.
Londeka Mchunu’s salary revealed
Mchunu, the actress who takes on the role of Zanele, is one of the recurring cast members of House of Zwide. She is paid an estimated monthly salary ranging from R40 000 to R45 000 depending on the number of scenes and episodes she is featured. Sometimes the actor’s experience also helps in deciding the salary earned by the salary in question. Londeka is among the highest-paid actors in the drama series, alongside other seasoned actors like Bawinile Ntshaba and Vusi Kunene.
Before House of Zwide, Londeka Mchunu was part of two drama series. She was part of the isibaya cast playing the role of Londiwe which made her friends with actresses like Linda Mtoba and Kwezi Ndlovu. Before that role, Mchunu played the role of Snegugu in Isithembiso.
