Gqom singer Bongekile Simelani known as Babes Wodumo has ventured into comedy. She created a skit video with a famous skit maker. In the short comedy clip, both Babes and the guy were sitting on the couch like a couple. Babes said, “She is crazy; if she were in hell, she’d probably flirt with the Devil and tell him his fork looks nice.” Her boyfriend said Babes is crazy, and he wonders who would marry her. Babes’ mood changed instantly.
Her husband, Mandla Maphumulo, also known as Mampintsha Shimora, posted the video on his Instagram page. Mampintsha also likes posting humorous content, and he’s been doing it a lot lately. He’s also been an avid TikToker.

Babes Wodumo’s acting career
A lot of people don’t know this, but Babes can act. She was once cast on the SABC 1 church and crime telenovela called Uzalo. She played a young girl who attracted Master Mind, but she had bad intentions. She drugged him and stole all of his new furniture in the house. Master Mind tracked her down and got all his stuff back.
Sadly, she was too focused on her music career and neglected acting. After her debut album, Gqom Queen, she became an instant sensation. She was booked from December to February with no days off at some point. During interviews, she told interviewers she was fatigued. Her way of staying energetic was intravenous energy boosters.

After her first album became a success, she became a successful artist. She was also featured on the Black Panther album, and her song Wololo was played in the movie. She released another album now, but it’s still early days.
