Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s lobola negotiations done and dusted
Congratulations are in order for the Mzansi’s controversial couple. Despite the hurdles the couple has faced they are finally a step away from becoming husband and wife. Wodumo takes to her Instagram story to announce the good news approximately a month after her engagement.
Popping the question
Shimora pops the question during an interview on Gagasi FM drive time show on the 29th of October for the second time. Babes posts the heartfelt footage and fans couldn’t be happier for year. It however seems some of the fans are still skeptical about the duo’s relationship after their public fall out a year ago.

Mampintsha despite showing the world’s ugly video when he assaults Babes which leads to laying charges against each other, he continues to stick by his partner. All relationships have their bad days and Mampintsha is going all out to make things right especially when Babes’s family does not condone cohabitation.
Mampinthsa pays lobola
“He has made up his mind and wants to spend the rest of his life with Babes. He was also getting a lot of pressure from the Simelanes, who are very religious, to put a ring on it, because the two were living together,” says a family member Sunday World.
The lobola will be aired on the couple’s reality show, Uthando Lodumo which premieres early 2021. Nomsa Philiso (MultiChoice Channel Director – Local Entertainment) speaks on the show. “They’ve had serious issues as a couple, yet have chosen to remain together. The show focuses on how they have overcome their challenges, working through them with their families.”
Mampintsha pays lobola
It seems Mampintsha’s intentions are pure after all. All the speculations on reasons why he features on almost every song on Wodumo’s latest album Idandokazi is just a pure act of love.
