Ayanda ‘Cobra’ Dlamini appointed as AmaZulu Head Coach
Despite struggling for good results for the better half of the just ended Absa Premiership season AmaZulu announces Dlamini as a new head coach.
The Durban-based side Usuthu failed to gunner the much-needed points for survival after Cavin Johnson and Josef Vukusic tactics failed to bring about good results.
The appointment of Ayanda ‘Cobra’ Dlamini as acting head coach after Vukusic was forced to go on forced leave was a turning point for the Usuthu boys.
AmaZulu two won games, drew four and lost one under the mentorship of Dlamini and survived the relegation scare as they secured the 13th spot.
Dlamini was appointed as acting head coach in March with the assistance of Moeneeb Joseph’s at his technical bench as an assistant coach.
AmaZulu general manager, Lunga Sokhela, confirmed the appointment of Dlamini via a virtual conference meeting. Dlamini has been appointed as AmaZulu Coach on a three-year agreement contract.
