Ayanda Bandla was born in Johannesburg, South Africa specifically in Protea North in Soweto. Her date of birth is not available however, we do know that she is 30 years old. Ayanda graduated with a degree in Political Science with a specialty in International Relations from the University of Pretoria.
Career
Ms Bandla is currently known a Dr Anelisa Moabe on the television drama “Vutha” however, her stardom did not start there. Straight after graduating Ayanda became an anchor on etv’s Sunrise breakfast show. Her work included writing, anchoring, field reporting, recording voice-overs and producing on the show which a great step from her initial work of sub-editing. Ayanda worked at Sunrise from 2011 to 2015. In 2011 at the age of 21 Ayanda Bandla was a contestant in the popular reality competition One Day Leader on SABC 1.
In 2016 she joined Generations: The Legacy as Dr Tumelo Mokoena. She went on to be a presenter for “Broken Vows” in 2017 and in the same year featured in “It’s Complicated” as Lerato Motha. Ayanda’s work so far is impressive. She also worked in Obsessions a South African drama series that hit international screens. At thecurrent moment Ayanda Bandla is playing the role of Dr Anelisa Moabe on “Vutha” a medical drama that debuted on the 3rd of September 2020.
