Aston Villa’s Marvelous Nakamba breaks Covid-19 regulations
With many players returning to their respective countries for international duty, there are risks that some of them will return back to their clubs and test positive for Covid-19. Clubs have put strict restrictions to avoid reckless behaviour from their players.
One player that seems to be involved in reckless behaviour is Zimbabwean international Marvelous Nakamba who plays for Aston Villa.
Nakamba left his Birmingham base on the 8th of October headed for Zimbabwe. He posted on his social media accounts wearing an all-white tracksuit and white takkies.

Nakamba arrived in Zimbabwe and was seen mixing and mingling with socialite Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure. So reckless was the Aston Villa midfielder that he did not bother wearing a mask, putting the rest of his international teammates at risk.
Nakamba was recorded in his all-white outfit shaking hands and hugging friends. Ginimbi hinted about going to a party afterwards.
Ginimbi is heard saying:
Murungu chaiye chaiye auya (the rich man is here), Welcome to the streets of Harare. Guys its gonna be going down tonight. Not tomorrow but tonight. Who wants to be with us….champopo (champagne).

Ginimbi is a wealthy businessman who owns a fleet of luxury vehicles and recently bought a Ferrari and a Lamborghini.
Ginimbi is known in Zimbabwe and South Africa for hosting parties that last as long as three days.

Nakamba signed for Aston Villa in 2019 and helped his team survive relegation, and is poised to remain in the English Premier League beyond 2020 as his team has maintained a 100% win record since the season started. They recently thrashed English champions Liverpool 7-2 at the Villa Park.
