It’s another banger on the way for 2021. Anele Mdoda is set to host a new talk show on DSTV’s new channel, Honey. The host takes her place alongside Pearl Umeh from Nigeria, Rachel Wakesho from Kenya, Zanna Katoka from the DRC, and Davina Mavuwa from Zimbabwe.
The talk show will premier on the 15th of February on DSTV’s new channel, Honey. Honey is Africa’s first original lifestyle channel. Honey will be on channel 173 and is set to premier on the 12th of February. Anele took to Instagram to celebrate the new channel as it will be platform to her new show. This new show will prove to be her second massive show after she left SABC 3’s Real Talk with Anele in 2019.

The channel will be broadcast in all key African regions including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, Angola, Mozambique, Tanzania, DRC, Cameroon, and South Africa.
Anele’s media career has been on a steady rise these past few years. She is also a radio show on 947. Last year just after the beginning of the lockdown, the media personality used her show to raise money for pregnant women. The radio show managed to raise more than R200k. The personality was also off air for a bit last year when she contracted COVID-19.
