Andile Mpisane announces he will be performing on the Legendz of the Streetz Tourz in the United States of America alongside Rick Ross this year. Like many other annual musical festivals, the Legendz of the Streetz Tour was put on hold since 2020.
Due to the global strict lockdown regulations, event organizers could not allow prominent people in such proximity. Many people could’ve potentially lost their lives if the events were allowed at the time.
Since more people have got their jabs across the world, and the most recent Delta variant is very light, more and more places and events are reopening.
Legendz of the Streetz Tour 2022
Legendz of the Streetz is a rap and hip-hop tour. On this year’s show, the headlining acts will be the Big Boss Rick Ross, the hoarse-voiced Jeezy, graduate, entrepreneur and trap star 2 Chainz, Gucci Mayne, Fabulous and many more.

Little Caesars Arena
Legendz of the Streetz Tourz will be hosted in the Little Caesars Arena at 2645 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI, 48201, United States of America. Little Caesars opened on the 5th of September 2017 after being constructed on the 24h of April in 2015.
First South African opening act
Out of every hit-making musician to ever come out of South Africa, Andile Mpisane was the first-ever musical artist from Mzansi to be an opening act for the Tour.

Some public figures congratulating Andile on this particular achievement include the gqom duo Distraction Boys. His mother, Shauwn Mkhize, commented with the words, “America here we come.” Many other fans and his wife, Tamia Mpisane, also congratulated him.

Although Andile got a lot of congratulatory messages, some speculated why he, out of all people, was chosen to open on tour. Andile is a musician, but quite frankly, his music is unknown, and he doesn’t have a single hit song to his name. Many people speculate that Shauwn Mkhize may have chipped in to earn him a space.
