From being his Woman Crush Everyday to AKA‘s punching bag, Nelli still has to decide their fate. One of Mzansi’s favorite couples, the duo engage in a heated argument that quickly escalates into a huge fight. Fancy dinners and cute posts with sweet captions are the order of the day for the couple. It therefore comes as a surprise when the couple’s Bryanston, Johannesburg home turns into a boxing ring last Friday morning.
What really happened?
This is the million dollar question. Police show up at the couple’s home as neighbors fear domestic violence by the award winning rapper against his girlfriend. Complaining about how fed up she is of AKA‘s cheating episodes, she threatens to leave with her bags strapped. In a bid to lay charges against each other, the couple is taken to Randburg police station.
It ends in tears
Nelli accuses AKA of manhandling her and the rapper in turn accuses his girlfriend of slapping him. Exchanging tongue lashes in front of the police officers the couple’s argument continues to escalate. If not for the couple’s lawyers’ intervention, the couple would have laid charges against each other and live to regret it. Nelli storms off with her lawyer and AKA goes on to ace his performance on the SABC1 music programme LiveAMP later that evening.
Does it come as a surprise though?
No pun intended but does AKA‘s cheating escapade come as a surprise when he once cheated on DJ Zinhle while pregnant with Kairo. The violence however is a first but we may never know why the rapper reacts this way as his management refuses to comment.
