Former Gomora actor Buyile Madladla’s age shocks Mzansi as he looks younger than his actual age. He played Phumlan Ndaba on Gomora, the Mzansi Magic telenovela. He joined Gomora as the younger brother of the late Mbongeni Ndaba with the goal of avenging the death of his brother. Phumlani was a mysterious villain who pretended to be a saint, yet he was the devil dressed in sheep’s clothing.
Visibly loaded with money, he lured her late brother’s gorgeous wife, Thati (played by Katlego Danke), into his bed. He then proved his undying love for Thati by marrying her in a glamorous wedding which convinced the Mofele family and MaSonto that he was a good man. However, after the wedding, he showed his true colours when he became overprotective of Thati and started abusing her. Phumlani was also the mastermind of all the bloody heists in the Gomora community; he would finance Sdmo and Brains to harass girls in Gomora.
However, the character of Phumlani kissed goodbye to Gomora in a painful way when he was stabbed to death by Melusi (Zolisa Xaluva) as he was defending Thati from the doors of death. After Buyile exited, Gomora Mzansi was left heartbroken as his canning character had a charming way of keeping them glued to their screens.
