South African actor Kay Sibiya who played the role of journalist Siyanda Khoza leaves Generations The Legacy cast to join Showmax telenovela Hlomu, The Wife.
Kay Sibiya joined Generations The Legacy as Siyanda Khoza, an award-winning journalist from Cape Town, brought to #Ezweni by Tshidi to take down Jack Mabaso. Tshidi knew what both Siyanda and Jack didn’t know, that they were brothers hence manipulated the only brother that Jack had against him.
Over the storyline, Siyanda worked hard to bring down Jack Mabaso and other corrupt officials; he struggled to make peace with his estranged wife Pamela Khoza- the role played by Zola Nombona. He was involved in a love triangle with Jack’s daughter, his niece Sphe Moroka.
Siyanda’s confession as he leaves Generations The Legacy
Siyanda confessed to murdering his brother Jack Mabaso with the help of the Russian mob. He revealed that he had to kill him to avenge the death of his mother, who was strangled to death by Jack Mabaso.
He bows out of Generations the legacy through suicide, shuttering the heart of Pamela, who was looking forward to reviving her vows with him. Over the few months, Kay Sibiya was on Generations The Legacy; he became a fan favourite as he was a complete package. Handsome and courageous, Siyanda would give his bosses a middle figure than compromising his journalism ethics. His end saw Detective Malinga knocking at Pamela’s door, breaking the news that Siyanda had committed suicide.
Sibiya leaves Generations The Legacy to join The Wife, a new Showmax drama series where he will play the role of Sandile. Kay Sibiya was spotted on Hlomu The Wife teaser leaning forward to kiss Hlomu role played by Mbalenhle Mavimbela, who told him that “nginendoda” I have a man. The teaser points that Kay Sibiya is out to cause havoc on Hlomu The Wife as he attempts to snatch Hlomu from her man.
