House of Zwide actress Thembisa Mdoda ‘Nikiwe’s failed marriage, cheating scandal.
Thembisa Mdoda has been named the sweetheart of Mzansi Magic’s show Our Perfect Wedding, where she brings her bubbly and fun side to life. However, she has always been a queen on the small screen as she has proved herself as an actress and is currently slaying the role of Nikiwe Ndlovu on House of Zwide.
Thembisa made her debut in the acting industry in The Road in 2015. She was playing the role of Thabisile Cebekhulu. Before that, she was a big radio personality hosting an Aftrdark show on 94.7 Highveld stereo. She was also on Metro FM for a year before she was fired.
Television has seen her landing jobs in hit series like Unmarried, where she played Thembi. She brought a lot of drama and feistiness; she made the character be. Her role in Isibay as Amanda Molefenyane was the talk of 2019.
How Thembisa Mdoda’s first marriage failed
Before she was Thembisa Nxumalo, the actress was married to famous South African actor Athandwa Kani for three years. Thembisa opened up about how they were young when they got into the marriage and did not understand what it entailed. After rumours of infidelity in the gossipville, Athandwa asked for a paternity test on their twins. His suspicions were revealed as the twins were not his, and their marriage ended. Kani moved on the same year with his current wife, but it took Thembisa longer.
In 2020 Thembisa, in her award acceptance speech, made it public that she has found love in someone on the set Our perfect wedding. The two were married the same year, even though she does not post her husband. Thembisa is always showing off her ring. The actress is known to have two kids from her time in a marriage with Athandwa Kani, even though their biological father is not known. Last year she posted her postpartum body and had people wondering if she gave birth to a child.
