Gomora actor ‘Don’ Israel Matseke-Zulu has been trending after Mzansi connected the dots about his wife and children from failed relationships. Dupped as the godfather of small screens, seasoned actor Israel Matseke-Zulu has fast become one of Mzansi’s finest actors regarding small screens. With an illustrious career spanning years, Mzansi has been more than impressed with the unmatched acting flair that has seen him win several accolades.
Matseke-Zulu is best known for his on-screen character in Mzansi Magic’s drama series Gomora. In the drama series, he starred as Don, who was married to Zodwa’s character, played by multi-award-winning actress Sannah Mchunu.
However, in the mix of things, he bowed out of Mzansi Magic’s most watched drama series after he couldn’t walk on set. Well, this comes after he was diagnosed with a chronic illness that saw his leg amputated. On Gomora, he bowed out in style after being shot at point blank by his bubbly wife, Zodwa.
Rumour mill once revealed that Don was bound for a grand return on the drama series, but the showrunners rubbished the claims. The showrunners have since confirmed that Don won’t be part of the drama series after his character was killed.
