A horrible hate crime befalls Clement and Oritonda on their baecation tonight on Skeem Saam. Viewers were so happy when Clement finally found a love match in Oritonda.
These two have shown us a few goals on the screen for a few weeks.
As we all know, Ori and Clemy are in a same-sex relationship and are as cute as they want to be.
Clement has had a fair share of drama in his search for the right one. I mean, just look at what happened with Tlotliso.
If you don’t remember, then we will remind you.
Tlotliso is an older married man who is living in the closet. He met Clement online, and their relationship kicked off like a house on fire.
Things started to get shady when Tlotliso showed signs of keeping their relationship on the down low.
This caused their relationship to exist on his terms, and Clement only saw him when it was only convenient for him. Tlotliso would make it up to Clement by buying expensive gifts, and then all hell broke loose when his wife found out about this relationship.
A fight broke out outside of a hotel, and everything was captured on social media, and what is worse is that Tlotliso denied Clement to his wife, so he had been through the most.
Enter Oritonda, who is a perfect match; he is Clement’s age, he is not hiding in the closet, and he cares for Clement; this is a dream relationship.
Tonight our dreams are about to be shuttered.
The two went on a romantic holiday in Hartree’s, and everything was beautiful. They are taking pictures, going to all-white parties and drinking Champagne Darling!
A very horrible attack takes place tonight, and things get so bad that Lehasa and Pretty will be needed to assist.
From what the teasers say, Ori is the one that gets hurt the most. The tragedy hits so hard that at some point after the incident, Clement is called to share his story on Radio.
The hate crime no doubt comes from people who are with prejudice against the struggle to accept a gay couple.
Skeem Saam is an educational drama, so there is a lesson to be learned in today’s episode about the ignorance of people regarding the LGBTQ+ communities.
