Pictures: Actor Gregg Pettigrew Allegedly Shoot Lover
51-year-old local actor Gregg Pettigrew is accused of shooting his 29-year-old lover to death and then attempting suicide.The incident took place on Thursday at Pettigrew’s residence, which is a rented cottage.
The landlord made an emergency call to the police, who arrived at the scene shortly thereafter.
Police spokesperson Colonel Barbara-Anne Ferreira stated that upon arrival at the scene, police discovered a deceased male.
“The other man was still in the bed, next to the male, and he had a firearm in his hand.”

Ferreira said they noticed the man was drowsy.

Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered both men in bed, with one holding a firearm.
“We noticed that there were tablets. The man drank an overdose of tablets.”
