Masechaba Khumalo’s run as spokesperson for the minister of Arts And Culture has ended
After 3 years of dedicated service as the Spokesperson for the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, Masechaba Khumalo has announced her retirement. She worked closely with Nathi Mthethwa during his tenure as minister and now looks forward to embarking on a new journey.
Masechaba has announced that her run has ended, “It has been an honour to serve in the government over the last 3 years. I leave this space excited to begin the next chapter of my career as I continue growing in my God-given purpose. Old energy is clearing, new energy is entering & great things are on the horizon. When Masechaba Khumalo was appointed as Spokesperson for the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa praised her as a “dynamic trailblazer” and “one of the most influential women on the continent.” Masechaba humbly accepted the role, stating “It is an honour and a privilege. I am ready to serve indeed.” In addition to her professional achievements, Masechaba also recently tied the knot again.

“My newly appointed Spokesperson is a dynamic trailblazer, who has made an immense contribution to the African media landscape and is one of the most influential women on the continent. The Department looks forward to working with an eminent and diligent leader,” said Minister.
