Uncle Waffles has changed her look to an emo type similar to Doja Cat. When Waffles first appeared on the scene, she had a colourful personality reflected in her style. Recently, however, she has been giving off more emo vibes that her fans are not enjoying. She posted a picture of herself with red hair and dark makeup on Instagram to promote her upcoming project, Asylum. Waffles also took to her Instagram stories to deny rumours that she is part of the Illuminati.

People have been saying she has been looking up to Doja. Her father, Dumisani Dlamini, defended his daughter and said people should mind their own business.
