Kgomotso Christopher returns to Scandal! with Tebello (Tibi)
Recently, e.TV‘s Scandal has faced some criticism due to the announcement of Sello Sabotsane joining the cast. This came only a few days after the soapie revealed that veteran actress Shoki Mmola would join the show.
Fans were shocked when news broke of a scandal involving two of their favourite characters on the soap opera. It was revealed that Sello and Shoki had previously been married, but Shoki left due to Sello‘s alleged abuse. Despite the scandal, the soapie and channel have decided to give the fans what they want and bring back a beloved character. As reported:
Viewers’ fan-favorite Litlhonolofatso Litlhakanyane who plays Tebello (Tibi) returns to Scandal.
It has been more than a year since the actor took a break from the show, but he is bang with a bang.
“Tebello has experienced all types of lifestyles. He has moved from an abusive environment in a shack, to a hotel in Newtown, and now lives with his grandfather in Soweto. Through all this, he is still growing, and he finally finds true love. He meets a girl in the taxi rank and decides that he cannot let her go, as this is the first time he finds a love like this. Is this love at first sight,” said Scandal! in a statement.
Since the announcement, viewers of the soapie have been wondering if Yvonne (Tibi‘s mother figure) or YV will come back with the teenage character.

Kgomotso Christopher returns to Scandal!
Kgomotso Christopher took to Twitter to celebrate that Litlhonolofatso Litlhakanyane was returning to Scandal! Her post caused fans to wonder if the SAFTA award–winning actress would come back with young actor Tibi.

Before she departed from the soapie to star in the now cancelled M–Net original telenovela Legacy, Christopher was beloved as Tibi‘s mother figure, the scrupulous villain Yvonne “YV” Langa. However, Kgomotso suggested that Tibi did fine without her after her exit.

When asked about a potential return to Scandal, Kgomotso, who won a SAFTA for her role, left the matter open–ended. This led to speculation that she might return to the show, especially since Legacy was recently cancelled and no announcements of Kgomotso working on new projects. Whether or not Kgomotso will be making her return to the show remains to be seen, but fans are hoping that she will confirm her return soon.
