Imbewu The Seed actress Phindile Gwala ordered by the court to clear her R100k electricity bill
The Johannesburg High Court has reportedly demanded that “Imbewu: The Seed“ star Phindile Gwala–Ngandu pay her electricity bill. Last year, the actress was taken to court for defaulting on the payments, which had grown to R100 000. After Gwala failed to settle the bill, Bramley Mews Body Corporate decided to take matters to the High Court, per City Press.
The High Court has finally rendered its decision in the case of Phindile Gwala. A close source reports that the court has demanded that she pay the outstanding bill or face being cut off from the service indefinitely.
“The Johannesburg High Court has ordered actress Phindile Gwala-Ngandu to settle an electricity and utilities bill worth over R100 000 or have her apartment disconnected from using power.” the source said

When news of the judgement against Phindile, the star of “Imbewu“, first broke in June 2020, it was quickly picked up by the press.
The corporate manager revealed that the judgement had been served due to a non–payment. Since then, the story has been trending, but so far Phindile has not responded to the news.
