Life after Idols SA: Nozi making waves in the gospel music industry, joins Khaya Mthethwa’s gospel tour.
Award-winning gospel artist Khaya Mthethwa announced that Idols SA contestant Nozi would join him on his gospel tour. Nozi made waves as an Idols SA season 18 contestant, and she got recognition from Jennifer Hudson after killing her “Giving Myself” song. She became Mzansi’s instant favourite contestant; however, she did not win the grand prize losing it to Thapelo.
“I feel good. I am so happy Thapelo won. We always said his win is my win. He deserves it. We give God the Glory. It’s all timing. Everything works together for those who wait and believe in God.”
“I’m so happy I got this far. I am not going anywhere. People will see more of my face and hear my music. I don’t want to be picky. I want to do any genre that speaks to the soul. I’m just a soulful person, and I speak to people in that manner.”
A few months after leaving Idols SA Nozi is set to join Khaya Mthethwa on his album tour. On March 4, Khaya, who won season 8 of Idols SA, will launch his latest album, Art & Worship, at the Heartfelt Arena in Pretoria. This will kick-start his tour itinerary, performing in Durban, Mpumalanga, Cape Town, Polokwane and Bloemfontein.

Nozi may not have taken the crown of Idols SA, but she is making waves in the music industry, and Mzansi is proud of her. She has joined other former Idols SA contestants like Mmatema, who are doing wonders in the gospel genre music.
