Malusi Gigaba pulls a shocker after he allegedly ties the knot with Nomfundo Fakudze. He has been trending of late. In the wake of his nasty divorce, former Minister of Finance Malusi Gigaba is set to get married for the third time. The celebrated politician who once held the Minister of Public Enterprise position is said to have paid lobolo for his fiancée, Nomfundo Fakudze, as per multiple reports. Of interest is the fact that she is from Eswatini.
In the mix of things, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots about Nomfundo Fakudze. Rumour mill has it that the 51-year-old politician sent his uncles to the Kingdom of Eswatini in Manzini this past weekend. However, in the mix of things, the two sides are yet to confirm their union, which has since left Mzansi baffled.
Of interest is the fact that Fakudze is a senior investment associate at National Empowerment Fund (NEF). However, the two have been dating for a while now. In 2021, Fakudze was spotted at the politician’s daughter Lerato Gigaba’s 21st birthday party. In the mix of things, it is not clear when the couple will get married.

Malusi Gigaba ties the knot with Nomfundo Fakudze
In one of the posts, Fakudze posted on Instagram, Gigaba refers to his fiancée as a “flame” – which she corrects and tells him to add the possessive adjective “my” at the beginning of his compliment. However, in another post, he refers to Fakudze as “Dali [Darling]” as he responds to an Instagram user complimenting her beauty.
Malusi Gigaba’s ex-wives
He has been not in one but two failed marriages. In 2010 he made all sorts of headlines when he divorced his first wife, Thabong Nxumalo. Confirmed reports have it that he was having an extramarital affair with Nomachule “Norma” Gigaba (née Mngoma) – who became his second wife.
In 2014 he tied the knot with Norma. Their lavish two-legged wedding left a lot to be desired. Despite serving goals, the two called it quit in 2020. Their nasty fallout opened a can of worms that even saw Norma testifying and implicating Gigaba in a string of corruption scandals that involved the Guptas.
At some point, Norma was violent in the wake of their fallout which led to her keying his friend’s Mercedes-Benz G-Class after he allegedly also cheated on her. In the mix of things, she was nabbed only to be released on R5 000 bail in July of the same year.
