The Daily Show host/comedian Trevor Noah has been in the news lately since he announced that he was leaving the show. This is after hosting the show for seven years since he took over hosting duties from Jon Stewart back in the day. On the show as a host, he has commented on a lot of current affairs and entertainment news on the show. Recently, Trevor Noah received some Xenophobic attacks from Kanye West, whom he has talked about several times on the show.

In a recent interview on a podcast, Kanye West mentioned that Trevor Noah is not even American. He goes on to say that he is someone who looks black. A few seconds after saying that, he notes that his kids, mixed like Trevor Noah, are black. Many agree that Kanye West’s comments are meant to start violence against Trevor Noah. Most of his fans also say it is hard to take the rapper seriously. Even former American president Donald Trump has said that the rapper needs serious help.
How the fight between Trevor Noah and Kanye started
Trevor Noah and Kanye West’s fight started in March when Kim Kardashian, Kanye’s ex, started dating Pete Davidson. There was a lot of commotion on the internet as Kanye would not leave Kim alone. He even put out a music video which shows him chopping Pete’s head off. Trevor Noah urged people to look at the situation differently. He said that if Kim Kardashian, one of the most powerful women in the world, can not get an ex to leave her alone, what hope do ordinary women have?
Kanye had a lot to say in the situation as he hauled insults at Trevor Noah, but later, he apologized for that. Obviously, the apology was something his PR team had advised him on. Kanye has started again in an interview with Drink Champs, where he tried to start xenophobic attacks on Trevor Noah. This is before his White Lives Matter scandal has even faded and his comment on Jews.
Trevor Noah has recently confirmed that his last day on the Daily Show will be the 8th of December. Many people have no idea who will replace him, but fans are devastated to watch him leave.
