Award-winning former Springbok player Tendai Mtawarira famously known as The Beast, has poured his passion into a new business project that has now officially culminated in the launch of a bespoke wine collection. Taking to his Instagram, Tendai showed off his new winey business, complimented by a well-written caption.

Tendai Mtawarira launches wine collection
After retiring from rugby, Tendai discovered a new calling in the winery business and decided to make strides in the industry. The 37-year-old retired national rugby player star has extracted his trademark nickname ‘The Beast’ and created a signature of wine. Tendai confessed that his brand is built on the philosophy of excellency, resilience and passion.
He has joined other South African celebrities like Dj Zinhle, Prince Kaybee and Boity Thulo, who are in the winery business.

I have been eagerly awaiting the moment when I could share details of this exciting launch of The Beast Wine Collection, which is very close to my heart. Our mission is to offer a high quality, locally produced wine to an extensive consumer market. The production of this collection has represented a true labour of love over the last year.

The Beast Wine Collection includes an MCC Brut, Syrag\Cabernwt Sauvignon, Rose and a Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon, which each has a special meaning to Tendai. A whole bouquet of products from The Beast Wine Collection is now available onkin3 in South Africa and will soon be global.
