Amapiano stars Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa are released and will be heading to the airport after paying the Zimbabwean Sheriff thousands of Rands. A few months ago, Kabza and Maphorisa ditched the Victoria Falls 10th carnival after receiving full payment to perform. The news broke out, and social media went viral, but everyone assumed the Scorpion Kings had repaid the money. It seemed that Kabza and Maphorisa thought they would get away with murder. It’s simply not possible to commit crimes and live freely without consequences.
While at the Holiday Inn hotel in Bulawayo, The Sherrif issued a warrant of arrest that denied Kabza and Phori to leave Zimbabwe. The two stars were held as attachments to the case in the foreign country until applications were made to pay a certain amount of value as an attachment. After spending hours in Zimbabwe under the Sheriff’s custody, Kabza and Maphorisa are finally free to fly back home.

Speaking after the successful application to give Maphorisa and Kabza, the lawyer said
There was an order from the court, which attaches the persons of the two artists for some alledged claim from their previous appearance in Victoria Falls. So l think there is a minor dispute, so they are outside the jurisdiction, so ordinarily this court does not have the authority to deal with this matter.
He continued speaking of the court’s possibilities in dealing with such a matter. He said if the accused had property in the country, that would be attached to the case. Unfortunately, Kabza and Maphorisa had no property in Zimbabwe, so the court had to connect the persons.
