Harriet works for Ferguson Films, one of the country’s most paying production companies. On the other hand, MaSonto is working under Seriti Films, which is among the low-budget production companies.
As of 2022, Harriet is taking home a salary of R100 000 for her lead role on The Queen. On set, she plays the character of a drug dealership queen who uses the Khoza transport company to cover up her dirty deals. MaSonto has a car hijacking business, and she has Mazet and Stompie, who runs her day do day car stealing business. She is paid R80 000 per month for her character on Gomora.

Rumours once made rounds on social media that Ferguson Films was interested in hiring MaSonto (Connie Chiume) for a recurring role on season 2 of Kings of Jo’burg.
