Thathi returns home after a long time, and her mother, Mam’ Sonto, appoints her family business CEO leading to chaos in the family. Sonto made a controversial decision to ignore all the family members and appoint Thathi as the new CEO of the family business. During the meeting, almost all of the family members found it difficult to accept that onto chosen the prodigal daughter to be the new leader of the business.
Thathi married Phumulani, and she moved out of the family house, leaving Pretty and Mazet as the runners close to Sonto. After Phumulani’s death and Buhle’s disappearance, Thathi blamed her family for hating her mother. She even contemplated killing her mother at some point, but Mazet and Pretty always stayed with Sonto. It seemed as if Sonto and Thathi could no longer see eye to eye, but things had changed. Thathi is Sonto’s favourite daughter, and that is only going to bring more and more chaos to the family.
Pretty is heartbroken after Mam’ Sonto appoints Thathi as CEO of the family business.
Despite not being a blood daughter to Mam Sonto, Mazet looked the next in line to lead the family business. She loves the game of hijacking cars, and she is determined to have as many taxis as possible. She is close to Mam Sonto, always learning and cheering her up. And yes, that is not enough to convince Sonto to appoint her the new CEO. Mazet’s ace looked pale and disappointed even though she remained calm and never said a word. Even in so much pain, she understood she was not blood to Mam Sonto.
On the other hand, Pretty is the only person who has always been with her mother through all the pain. One would say that she is the most loyal and calm daughter that would do the work. However, Pretty’s naiveness makes her a weaker leader who may not be able to control Mazet and even her husband, Sbonga. Unlike Mazet, Pretty felt like she deserved the post, and she voiced her concerns, and that’s when the chaos started.

Will Thathi be able to lead the family business like Mam’ Sonto did?
After Phumulani’s death, Thathi assembled a squad of ladies who helped her to trace Buhle, and she looked like a good leader. She showed she could do with the street hardness as she managed to enter the hostels in broad daylight. She did her part, but her inability to be in good books with Pretty and Mazet is a significant block in her success as the new family business CEO.
