The actor we all love to hate was born and bred in Nelspruit City in Mpumalanga Province; his parents descend from the Tsonga tribe.
Hungani Ndlovu comes from a comfortable family where his parents believed that education was the key to success and ensured their children had the best education. Hungani’s parents sent their son to top primary and secondary schools in Buckbridge, passing with good grades.
After passing his matric, Hungani moved to the United States for tertiary education. Hungani registered for a degree at New York Film Academy, where he graduated with a Degree in Acting for Film.
A look at Hungani Ndlovu’s career in the entertainment industry
After graduating from acting and dancing school, he began to drop dance videos on social media under the name Sbujwa dance, which earned him admiration. Social media played a huge part in advancing his career.
Hungani made his first appearance on screen in 2014 when he scored an acting gig in the short film titled the Memoir of an Honest Voice. He slayed his role to perfection, and the film was nominated for the Best Short Film award at the Africa Movie Academy Awards and received the award.
In 2016, he bagged another acting role on Scandal! where he played Romeo, and he executed his role flawlessly. After playing Romeo for four years, he ditched the show leaving Scandal! viewers heartbroken as they had grown fond of his character. Rumour mill has it that Hungani was on the verge of joining the B.E.T comic series Blackish.
