Thulani Mtsweni has since grown to be one of the fan favourites on Gomora since he joined playing the role of Bongani. Since his debut, Bongani has been a top-class performer and won fans’ hearts beyond expectation. His humour as Tshisanyama manager ensured that no one would want to miss his scene. He later formed a more loved duo alongside Zodwa ‘Sannah Mchunu’.
Bongani is known for not shaving his beard and hair; he loves this picture of himself a lot. On several occasions, Bongani has shown that he is even a happier soul in real life than he is on Gomora. He had been trending after showing crazy stances that left fans in stitches. This time around, Bongani paused in a stadium dressed like a big supporter with a football under his right leg. Based on how Bongani paused with the ball, fans agreed he has good soccer skills.

Thulani had his face painted in black and white, with a graduation gown over his shoulders, a brown t-shirt, black Chino and white sandals. He looked like he was coming from the stadiums and his attire looked like an Orlando Pirates supporter. He had a ball under his feet, which made fans speculate that Bongani grew up a good player, and he could probably show fans what he could do.
He wrote a compelling message to the picture as he claimed that he is not just a fan; instead, he plays a better role than just being a fan. His statement and handling of the ball showed that he is threatening to do more than just support football. Most fans loved the picture, and some even suggested he become a coach at Gomora High.

Things are not always easy for Bongani and his wife Zodwa on Gomora. The couple represents the low-income family, with both of them serving primarily with other people’s mercy. They have shown thick skin as they started selling food at Gomora High. They seem to be getting their ends meet, but Sibongile’s issues with Mr Leballo seemed to be on their back before the courts ruled in their favour.
Currently, Teddy found a job as a taxi driver, and he is contributing. It seemed that things were a bit settled in the house, and a new start was about to begin.
