South African actress Bukamina Cebekhulu is famously known for her role as Gugu in Muvhango. The character of Gugu in Muvhango is that of an independent working woman who is a single mother to her young daughter. Recently Gugu was in the middle of a misunderstanding between a father and a son when she dated Vhutshilo only to dump him for his father, Azwindini.

However, when she was just about to get married to Azwindini after stealing his ex-wife Susan’s life, Gugu was a victim of a stolen identity. Her entire life was stolen by scam artists Rosemary and Nomasonto, and she was left in a psychiatric hospital heavily medicated. The people she had hurt were the ones who rescued her and brought her back to Azwindini, who later broke it off with her because she was now paranoid. Her behaviour was deemed unsafe for those around her and even her child. She was last seen when she was fighting with everyone taking out her frustrations and heartbreak on her loved ones.
Where is Bukamina Cebekhulu?
It is yet to be made public why she left Muvhango and when she will be back, as the actress has been scarce on-screen these days. The actress, who thinks of herself as a lover of life, has a constant Instagram presence and posts milestones she achieves in her life.
Roles in Inkaba and Ingozi
She has won different hats in the entertainment industry through her journey to be the actress we now love and respect. After graduating from AFDA, she worked backstage at Gospel Classics as a production assistant before working for Karektas for ATTV productions holding the same position. Bukamina also worked as a production coordinator for Noot vir Noot before landing a minor role in iNkaba and then moving to Ingozi.
Muvhango has been the most significant role of her career as an actress, which makes people wonder what she is now up to. According to her Instagram page, Bukamina is working on another production that she is yet to share with her followers. She also celebrated her birthday on the 31st of July and shared pictures from her celebration with her fans alongside her recent vacation to Cradle moon, where she took a much-needed break from work doing hikes.
