South Africa has recorded 3,267 cases in the last 24 hours. It is the largest jump in a day. The increase in cases comes as the country moved from level 5 to level 3 of the national lock down.
56 deaths were recorded today and recoveries have are just above half of the total infections.
The increase in cases is likely to cause he national command to reconsider banning alcohol and delaying further the opening of schools.
