Andile Ncube was born and bred in Johannesburg. He grew up with her mother after her parents had divorced. Although his parents were divorced, they both understood the concept of co-parenting and ensured their son had the best education. Andile attended different primary schools and did his secondary school in Johannesburg. He studied hard to be a trophy son to his parents and passed with good grades.
After finishing his matric, Andile enrolled for tertiary education at Pretoria Technikon, where he studied for an honours degree in Journalism. He worked as a journalist for a few years and discovered his calling as an entertainer, and he enrolled for a second degree at AFDA specializing in film and drama.
After graduating from AFDA, Andile got a job as a presenter on SABC2’s show Vuyani Mzantsi, beginning his career in the entertainment industry. Since his debut in the entertainment world, Andile has been charming Mzansi with his exceptional entertaining skills and shows no signs of slowing down.
Andile is a man who wears many hats; although he is an outstanding presenter, he also tried his luck in acting when he was featured on City Ses’la Season 1 as DJ Mphosa.
