City Press has it that Somizi allegedly paid lobola to his bubbly fiance and self-made millionaire Pholoso Mohlala. Rumour mill has it that the lobola negotiations took place in March, and a grand wedding is slated for September.
Yes, the two are said to walk down the aisle in September, and by then, Somizi would have dissolved his divorce woes with ex-hubby Mohale Motaung.
The publication alleged that the lobola negotiations happened on March 19. In the mix of things, the two are said to be looking for an elegant wedding venue for their wedding.
“The date’s been set. He’s getting married in September. The couple’s going to look at wedding venues on Monday. He paid lobola during the long weekend of March 19 at Pholoso’s home in Hammanskraal.”
However, this coincides with Somizi’s statements on his reality show Living The Dream with Somizi. Somizi revealed that he wishes to marry when he is 50. After all, he will be turning 50 on December 23.
“I want to get married at 50. The first time was a rehearsal,” he said, shading Mohale.

He also spoke about his love life and said the person he is dating is comfortable in life, “I am a sucker for mjolo. I can’t afford to date a man that I still have to raise right now,” he added, throwing shade at Mohale Motaung.
“I have a house. He’s got a house… I have a car; he’s got a car. I have a bank balance, a healthy bank balance; he’s got a healthy bank balance,” he added. “The person I’m seeing right now is very comfortable,” he gushed.
Somizi Mhlongo made all sorts of headlines. He tied the knot with Mohale in a two-legged wedding which was beamed on ShowMax. However, in the mix of things, the two called it quits a year, barely into marriage. Their fallout came from a series of allegations levelled against Somizi by Mohale.
Mohale has it that Somizi abused him and also threatened him with a kitchen knife. In the wake of these daring allegations, Somizi saw himself being cancelled. Well, he still has a pending divorce with Mohale, who is said to be keen on taking almost half of Somizis’s estate, which is said to be valued at around R80 million. In the wake of his cancellation, he bounced back with a bang and has been winning big.
