No doubt celebrated actress Jessica Sithelo is poised for greatness. Since her thrust into the limelight, she has been making all sorts of headlines with her unmatched acting flair as she nails the Nolo character on Mzansi Magic’s most-watched drama series Gomora.
We can all agree that she is that star actress we all love to hate. However, in the wake of her newfound fame, she has been winning big. Before her role in Gomora, the bubbly actress starred in The River as she wowed Mzansi with her Nyakallo character, which thrust her amongst some of Mzansi’s finest fast-rising star actresses.
Her on-screen character on Gomora has already seen her making all sorts of headlines as Mzansi tries to connect the dots about the new small-screen darling.
Despite keeping her private life under wraps, Mzansi has connected the dots about interesting facts. Well, her age is a shock to many and left Mzansi awestruck. The Bloemfontein-born actress happens to be 22 years old. This is a big shocker to many viewers who might have thought she was in her mid-20s or late 30s, given her on-screen characters and storylines. After all, the bubbly actress is younger than we all thought.
Of interest, she also doubles as a model back; in 2017, she won Miss Glamorous Free State. However, she has been heavily involved in modelling since she was a toddler; this comes after she once participated in a toddler pageant after her mother signed her up.

She is a true definition of beauty with brains; she holds a Drama and Theatre Arts degree from the University of Free State. Her qualifications have given her an edge in the booming entertainment industry.
Her shot to stardom came when she was cast into The River to play the on-screen character of Nyakallo. A few weeks after her audition, she learnt that she had been selected to be part of the star-studded cast of The River and the casting director Paddy Mazibuko personally informed her. The actress once revealed that she was against more than 50 other actresses.
