Ayanda Daweti left Scandal and joined Gomora nailing the role of Sizwe, and impressed fans immediately. His ability to maintain a composed character in difficult times has made him manage to play it well between Thathi and Qhoqhoqho of the hostel gangsters. Despite featuring a few scenes, Sizwe is now one of the fans’ favourites leading an interesting story between the dangerous lines.

Ayanda played the role of Chumani Langa on Scandal, making his name one of the fine upcoming artists in Mzansi. Not only that, his acting skills are backed mainly by a sound academic background that impressed Gomora fans.

The thirty-two-year-old actor lost his mother when he was only 13, but that did not stop him from pursuing his education. He went on to live with her aunt in Johannesburg, where he completed his Matric. After completing his Matric, he proceeds to study Information Technology at the Tshwane University of Technology. After IT, he took on another study in Arts at the same University where he grasped most of his acting skills.
Indeed Daweti’s academic strength in Arts and technology is one of the reasons he wins fans’ hearts so much. Already, he is a winner of the Golden Horn award for the Best Made for TV Movie at the South African Film and Television Award for his film Okae Molao.

Sizwe came in along with girlfriend Gugu ‘Velile Makhoba‘. Since then, Sizwe finds himself among the dangerous people of Gomora. In the unfolding of events, Stompie and Sdumo realised that Sizwe had been carrying a corpse in his car. Sizwe’s task from new boss Qhoqhoqho is to deliver the corpse to its family as soon as possible. The task seemed too big for Sizwe, who is rooming around Gomora, failing to complete the job.
