Royal AM chairman Andile Mpisane is at it again. MaMkhize’s son shared a fiery studio session that looks like a total vibe in the studio. In the video, he is in the cinema room of his mother’s LaLucia mansion. What genre is he creating? It can’t be anything either than his favourite genre to make gqom.
Distruction Boyz and Dladla Mshunqisi
He is with one part of the famous gqom duo Distruction Boyz Gold Max on the song. As the two are fine-tuning the music, we can hear the roaring vocals of the chef and musician Dladla Mshunqisi. You can’t mention gqom without Distruction Boys and Dladla Mshunqisi. Currently, they are the only prominent gqom artists making the sound.
Andile seemed to be having the time of his life. With dancing, he never disappoints. In the video, you can tell his dance moves are from the depth of his soul.
Refuses to quit
A few weeks ago, Andile had a big stage mishap when performing in Pretoria. As per usual, he came through with his fantastic dance moves and performed his music. The audience didn’t bother to interact with his performance even one bit, to his surprise. Someone made a meme of the underwhelmed crowd being entertained by Andile, and it became a national joke.
After such an embarrassing ordeal, one would think he’d take a short break. Andile is no quitter, though, as he is back at making more gqom.

A Def Jam Africa artist at work
As we know, Andile became a signed Def Jam artist earlier this year. Since the signing, he has been trying his hardest to push his music career. About two weeks ago, he released a teaser for a song called Makhwapheni and a social media challenge to promote it.
Andile is putting the hours beside his music, seemingly falling on deaf ears.
