After receiving so many threats and hate speech Kelly opted to get herself bodyguards for her protection. She posted content of herself being escorted by guards when she was walking in public.

A large number of her followers especially on the social media platforms Facebook and Twitter send her threatening comments. Kelly is accused of being Senzo’s murderer online. Kelly has been threatened with beatings and murder.
As a mother of two and a woman in South Africa, she made the right move by getting guards for herself. With so much hate and cyberbullying she can never be too sure what people are planning for her.
“They are upset because I wasn’t the one who died that night.”
In a recent snippet of her reality show, Kelly said there are people who are upset that she wasn’t the one who died that night. With those words, Kelly means people don’t even care she lost the father of her child. Everyone just didn’t want to lose the great goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.
