Philani goes after a serial killer on Generations: The Legacy
Philani is making his name known all over. Firstly, the Holy House debacle ended in flames, as we all know by now. He and Oby have taken Thembeka out of the equation entirely by pinning Mbali’s kidnapping and the death of some of the brainwashed Holly House disciples on her. They sealed the deal by silencing her after dealing her pills for poisonous ones. Thembeka has been in a coma since she took those pills.
The Curious Case of Philani
In the newly released highlights video, Philani and Oby are still trying to end loose ends as far as the Holly House is concerned. Oby thinks she should be killed, but Philani makes her understand that it’s not a good idea because Thembeka is still in a coma.
He feels that the police will smell a rat. Their plan to kill Mbali in the Holly House flames failed last week, and they have been trying to contain her since then. Mbali knows too much, and Oby needs to ensure she doesn’t spill the beans.

Meanwhile, Mbali is worried about the safety of her family from Philani. In the video, Mbali is seen talking to Mpho about her concerns. Mpho seems to be oblivious to the seriousness of Philani’s dark side.

Mbali is also unaware that her family is up in arms, trying to avenge her near-death experience. Lucy is seen telling Mrekza and Cosmo that they must brace themselves for a fight because no one messes with the Diales without consequences.
Serial killer 2.0
Winston is back with a bang, and even though we haven’t seen him physically, we feel his presence, Sphe being the one who feels it the most. Sphe has been trying to understand Thuso’s utterances about Winston. It’s been a very rocky road to healing for Sphe. She hadn’t dealt with what happened to her, and now she realized that she was not out of the woods at all.
In the newly released highlights, Sphe realizes how much in danger she is and is seen soliciting help from Nkaba. Nkaba gives her details of a person who doesn’t play by the rules and is dangerous and persistent. Do these characteristics sound familiar? They do because Nkaba is talking about someone you know. Philani.
Philani’s meeting with Sphe shocks her to the chore
Philani lays down his action plan for catching Winston and leaves Sphe’s jaw on the floor. He mentions that he wants to use Sphe as bait to catch Winston. Winston seems to have control as we finally see him sitting on a couch looking at that dead laptop.
According to the June teasers for Generations The Legacy, there will be a vodcast where a dangerous person will take the bait. Is it Winston?
Other things of interest that are happening on the Soapie this week are that Nkosiyabo’s love life gets very interesting as his wife Zanele arrives and causes havoc between him and Ayanda. Zondiwe is also unwilling to accept that she needs help, causing everyone to intervene, including her grandchildren.
