Fresh from his spectacular Grammy Award win, DJ Black Coffee is out dominating the world stages again. This time he took over the Coachella festival. Black Coffee, whose real name is Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, shared a video detailing everything he experienced at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Black coffee performed to thousands of excited fans at the Sahara tent.
In the video, he jumps up and down in preparation for his performance.
The Grammy award winner said he was nervous before taking to the stage.
According to the festival schedule, the DJ performed a one-hour set. All the attendees were looking forward to listening to him now that he is a Grammy Award winner, the highest achievement in music worldwide.
Nkosinathi is counted amongst the young South Africans flying the country’s flag high.
He captioned the video, “All I am would mean absolutely nothing without your support.”

The crowd went wild when he appeared on stage, and according to the comments made on the post, he didn’t disappoint.
He was in a lineup full of other influential and internationally acclaimed musicians like his fellow Grammy winner Doja Cat, One Directions Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Masego, to name a few.
The festival is a three day fun time held annually in California, and this year’s event, just like most events, is returning after being suspended for two years due to Covid19.
Celebrities attend the festival, and it showcases all talented people and their craft.
Different tents are set up for activities, exhibitions, food and drink and more.
Black Coffee has managed to capture fans worldwide, and in the video, they show their appreciation for him.
The DJ’s performance was the third one at Coachella; his first one was in 2018, and he retook the stage in 2019.
However, this time, he has added a Grammy Award winner to his resume, which raises his profile to monumental proportions.
Other South African musicians took the time to congratulate him.
Cassper Nyovest called him a Legend, and Nomuxi Mabena, also known as Moozlie, wrote: “Gone Boyz.”
