Sivenathi Mabuya has wowed many fans onscreen with her role as Francine on Mzali Wami, where she played the jealous sister. Her character is single in the drama series, but that has officially changed in real life as she has tied the knot to her boyfriend for some time. Mabuya has shared clips from her guests’ Instagram stories on hers to celebrate her traditional wedding this last weekend.
In January, Sivenathi shared pictures of her lobola negotiations, and she made headlines in many publications. The actress went from keeping her love life private to constantly posting her boyfriend in October 2021. The two would attend functions together side by side and look so much in love. Despite being somewhat tight-lipped about her boyfriend’s name, her wedding guests have spilt the beans while tagging the happy couple.
Sivenathi has married the man we now know as Aphiwe Bukani, who she has been dating for some time now. The happy couple had an intimate ceremony with friends and family as they celebrated the second part of their union with each other. They put on their traditional attires with black, white and blue colour schemes.

In a post put up by Lusanda Mbane, who played Sive’s mother in both Scandal, and Mzali Wami, fans were told that Mbane was the MC of the ceremony. Ayanda Daweti, who plays her brother in Scandal, was also part of the guest list and shared videos from the wedding supporting his workmate.
Mabuya is one of the actors who rose to fame through competitions on-screen. The one she took part in is MAQa Movie. This turned out to be her big break as the exposure landed her a role in the movie Skorokoro which debuted her acting career. After that, the rest is history as she is one of the sought after actresses in the industry, and she has long left her career in public relations.
