Top artists like Nadia Nakai, Makhadzi and Elaine produced outstanding performances this year. Miss South Africa 2022 broke social media with leading fashion and makeup, leaving fans impressed.
As the spectators and the whole of Mzansi focused their eyes on the Television, Connie Ferguson was present at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria. She enjoyed the show alongside Claire Mawisa as the ladies showcased their modelling talents. Just like everyone, Connie and Claire had their favourites, and it came out that The Queen actress got it right with her predictions. Despite not getting the order, Connie said that she managed to predict the top 3 correctly. Miss South Africa announced the top 30 in May, and only ten pageants from the long list made it to the next round. The top 10 pageants then had to face each other at the event the nation had been waiting for. With Connie Ferguson watching live from the stands, she could see precisely the best models and correctly predict the top three.
After a tight contest, Ndavi Nokeri, Ayanda Thabethe and Lebogang Mahlangu made it to the top 3. The three ladies made it, with Ayanda and Lebogang being the 1st and 2nd runners ups respectively. Ndavi Nokeri became the new queen of the nation as she was crowned Miss South Africa in 2022. former Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane crowned Ndavi as a new era began for the 23-year-old model.
