Next on Uzalo, Monday 21 March 2022 – Nkunzi tries to save Sibonelo
We all know all hell is about to break loose as Nkunzi starts getting Sibonelo back from the firm grip of Abbas.
Recapping of the previous episode
Nkunzi is going the extra mile to search for his son. Gabisile, as you can remember, put Nkunzi under pressure after the kidnappers decided to make contact and showed Sibonelo injured and beaten to a pulp. Nkunzi leaves Gabisile a message in a poem, basically preparing her for the very worst.
Mondli didn’t know that Sibonelo was kidnapped.
The kidnappers made it very clear that any involvement of the Law would end in tears for the Mhlongo family. Sambulo exposes this to a very surprised Mondli. Let’s hope Mondli will not jeopardize anything because we could also see in the video that Nkunzi is driving in a deserted field to meet Abbas as agreed.

Sambulo’s visit to the prison ends up in an attack from Sbu.
Sbu is seen talking to Njeza, who explains that the prison invites a priest every fortnight to inspire them. Sbu had been very upset with the Bhebhe family because Nkunzi went back on their deal and started blue ticking Sbu. He expected that he would be out of prison because they had agreed on three months with Nkunzi. When Sbu realizes who precisely the prison invited this time, he completely loses it. He gets up from his chair and launches at Sambulo like a wild animal.
The visit to the hospital leaves MaDongwe very confused with Lilly’s slow progress. Lilly has been removed from life support machines, but she is not responding as fast as her mother would have loved. We saw on Friday that a new woman in Lily’s life. The nurse explains to her that Lilly is fortunate to be alive.
Mbatha is making steady progress with the KFC Church; he receives good news about his chosen direction.
