As we know, the Wololo hitmaker is a married woman; she is married to Mandla Maphumulo, also known as Mampintsha Shimora. Her marriage, like many others, is not easy, and what makes it worse is that her dirty laundry is always washed in public. She’s a public figure that’s a tad too extroverted.

Upon seeing the video, many people were shocked, and the initial reaction for most people was laughter. Babes Wodumo doing weird things on video is nothing new but kissing another man seems too strange. People dragged Mampintsha as the guy babes kissed, looked much younger than her husband. Mampintsha was dragged to have a big stomach and not pay attention to his wife. Others think there might be more than a friendship between Babes and her male friend.
Mampintsha’s alleged second wife drama
After Babes Woduma posted a video calling Makhadzi out for allegedly being after Mampintsha, a woman came out and called herself Mampintsha’s second wife. Mamesh is her name, and she fired many shots at Babes. Mamesh promised Babes a beating, and she told Babes to stop disrespecting their mother-in-law. After the video emerged, neither Babes nor Mampintsha addressed the matter anywhere.

Babes’ relationship has never been smooth sailing. When Babes entered the entertainment industry, the couple kept their relationship under wraps. A few months after they came out to the media, Babes recorded Mampintsa assaulting her. Charges were placed and dropped, and the couple eventually got married. Babes Wodumo recently released a studio album titled Crown. She has ten gqom tracks on the album and features her husband Mampintsha on seven songs. On her first album, Mampintsha was the most featured artist too. So far, a few people are jamming to her tunes, but the reception is still just ordinary.
Gqom coming back
Gqom took a massive knock after the amapiano genre took over, and we’re seeing it making a comeback slowly. Perhaps a few hit songs from the gqom queen is all that’s needed from the genre.
