SA Hip Hop DJ Dimplez dies
As Mzansi and the world are still trying to come to terms with death Riky Rick, another celebrated South African musician, has died. In the wake of Riky Rick’s funeral, confirmed reports from several sources have it that DJ Dimplez born Tumi Mooi has died.
Rumour mill has it that the award-winning musician died earlier today at his home. Sources have it that he collapsed and died. The news has since flooded on social media, and several celebrities have shared cryptic tweets to express their sadness as the family is yet to confirm the news. Close friends and fellow industry mates have since shared the news on their social media platforms. However, it comes as a shock as the star singer was well and not reported sick.
What comes as a shocker is that DJ Dimplez and Riky Rick were close friends. He had his shot fame back in 2013 and 14 when he was nominated for Music Video of the Year at the South African Music Awards. The celebrated DJ died at the age of 28.

Like those before him, he discovered his craze of DJ whilst he was young. In 2003 he decided to furnish his skills when he bought equipment to harness his talent. He later joined the Wits DJ association. Since then, he was winning big up until the time of his untimely death.
The late DJ managed to cap his career with several lifetime accolades with an illustrious career spanning years. No doubt his performances at The Apprentice SA Finale and Blacks Only Comedy will go down in the history books as some of the best performances in history. He was also privileged to work with some of Mzansi’s finest, DJ Fresh, DJ Cleo, DJ Oskido, DJ S’bu and Black Coffee.
