Thulisile Phongolo, also known as Thuli P is booked and busy. She was one of the performing acts for Africa Honour Day hosted by Expo 2020 in Dubai on the 27th of February 2022. Only prominent artists were invited to perform, and Thuli Phongolo was one of them. MTVbaseafrica promoted and covered the event.
Thuli P’s Dubai arrival and stay during the events
Thuli P was excited and ready to take over Dubai upon her arrival. She never disappoints with her clothes, and she was dressed in an all-black Balenciaga lounging outfit with a pair of black Prada leather boots.
Her private room
Like the other big stars like; Mafikizolo, Rally Ipupa, Mayorkun, Thuli had a private room all to herself. Her room had a tent design interior, which was most likely, which was most likely designed. She was touring the room with her phone at hand when she got in, taking multiple snaps.
Thuli’s Dubai munchies
Of course, a girl has to eat. She had a crab, onion rings and chips lunch with some coke. Coussin in Dubai is not bizarre, so she ate foods she’s pretty familiar with from her homeland Mzansi.
Performance outfit
As we know, Thuli is a Xhosa woman, and she wore a MaXhosa by Laduma dress to perform. Usually, she likes wearing international brands like Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuitton. Seeing her dressed in MaXhosa was quite refreshing. With such a huge event, she gave a local designer international exposure. She simultaneously represented her people and supported a local designer.
Although Thuli P hasn’t released any music of her own, she is one of the most booked DJs in Mzansi. Many people speak highly of her performances, and her fan base keeps growing. Perhaps she’ll get in the studio and release her fans an E.P or an album one day. Of course, the fame she got from being an actress first; opened doors for her in the music space, but she excelled in the music mixing craft.
