On the 7th of February, a Twitter user who goes by the username Corbett Farmer reached out to the DJ n a tweet. The guy tweeted:
Hi Lamiez, my girlfriend is your biggest fan and it’s her birthday on Thursday, I want to propose her in front of you. We can do it anytime from Thursday to Sunday anywhere in Gauteng. Please @LamiezHolworthy
The Dj replied, showing a lot of excitement and even offered to bring a gift to the occasion. After some fans said that it might ruin the surprise they were communicating on their timelines, the man made it known that his girlfriend was not active on Twitter. Lamiez went on to say that the earlier they did it, the better to avoid gossip reaching the girl of their plans and the surprise was ruined.

Yesterday Corbett Farmer surprised his girlfriend with a birthday get together. As the DJ had promised, Lamiez Holworthy came to the birthday celebrations to surprise the birthday girl. She was screaming with surprise as the DJ handed her flowers and a bottle of champagne. While she was still starstruck by the DJ, her man got down on one knee and proposed to which she said yes.
Fans were applauding the DJ for making this happen for her fan. They called it the sweetest thing that has happened this month so far. Some fans are even talking about how Lamiez built an orphanage and bought beds. They call her one of the most down to earth celebrities in South Africa.
