Travelling level 3 South Africa: The government of South Africa has published guidelines about traveling and movement in South Africa during lockdown level 3. Guidelines for inter provincial travel, curfews, recreation, funerals, wearing of masks were also published.
Inter provincial movement during lockdown level 3
Interprovincial travel is not permitted except to return to work with proof of employment; for movement of learners, with permit; in exceptional circumstances such as funerals (with approval) or essential services. People who are caught violating the rule will face the law.
Staying at home during lockdown level 3
Staying at home rules should be observed during this period. Leaving home is permitted during travelling for work and to purchase essential goods.
Recreational travel
Travelling to see friends and family members is prohibited
Face masks during level 3
You are required to wear face masks in all public places during level 3. You should practice hygiene at all times

You can travel for funerals after getting an exemption document
South Africans returning home and foreign nationals leaving South Africa are allowed to travel during this period.
The elderly and persons with co-morbidities are encouraged to stay away from people as possible and to be in self isolation.
Social distancing rules
Social distancing rules still apply in level 3 lockdown. You are required to maintain 2 metres from another person on public.

Operations of stores and supermarkets
Stores to ensure that there is temperature screening of patrons, hand sanitisers available and measures to facilitate social distancing. Where the number of customers cannot be accommodated at once then measures such a ticket system and defined limit of time in the store per customer should be implemented instead of the physical queuing of customers.
Travelling Curfew during level 3 South Africa
Curfews will be implemented between 8pm and 5am, unless for essential service workers returning from or going to work. You may be arrested or fined for travelling outside this curfew period.
