Actress Bukiwe Keva is famous for playing the role of Asanda on Gomora. The Asanda character is a pompous teenage girl who studies at Gomora High School. She crossed paths with Sibongile and her friends. Her relationship with Sdumo was cut short after MaSonto plucked her from the thug’s house straight to the classroom. Like any other school-going teen, Asanda encounters mixed experiences at Gomora High School; she called a truce with Tshiamo during a fight against girl abuse. Bukiwe joined the Gomora cast in a recurring role, but she earned her place in the storyline due to her excellent acting skills.

Though she plays a teenage role on Gomora, Bukiwe is a twenty-nine-year-old mother of one. She matriculated in 2011 and studied for a qualification in Drama studies from City Varsity. Keva has been involved in college live performances and suffered rejection within the main filming industry. Giving up wasn’t a choice for a young and ambitious woman who left Eastern Cape to pursue her acting dream in Joburg.
Despite being featured on Isidingo and Scandal, the Asanda Gomora role opened doors for her career. She expressed her gratitude towards Gomora producers for taking a chance with hiring her after she nearly dumped acting to pursue modelling.

She spends a fortune on her brand, expensive holidays and designer clothes; anything to look good takes Bukiwe’s priority. She is one of the few actresses making boss moves and waves in the entertainment; she owns one of the most expensive fleets of cars on the Gomora cast.
